Same headers as Spark's Konix Evo system, different can — and the reason to choose this one is written into the silencer's internal volume: Spark sized it to meet the acoustic regulations of the major European circuits.
Key Features
- Racing full system for the Yamaha YZF R7 and MT-07, 2021 to 2026.
- AISI 304 stainless steel headers with a Force Evo titanium silencer.
- External ribbing on the case, carbon fibre end cap.
- Internal volume sized for the noise limits of major European circuits.
- 4,9 kg against 7,6 kg standard.
- On the R7: no passenger footrests, racing fairings required.
Built to Pass Scrutineering
This is the sentence that separates the two R7 systems. Spark states that the Force Evo's internal volume ensures effective noise reduction in compliance with the acoustic regulations across major European circuits — an engineering decision taken before the silencer was drawn, not a dB killer bolted on afterwards.
If your season is trackdays and club racing at circuits with a noise limit at the gate, that specification is worth more than two hundred grams of weight saving.
The Ribbed Case
Force Evo is the ribbed one: a titanium case with raised ribs running along its length and a carbon fibre end cap. The ribs stiffen a thin-wall case that would otherwise ring, and they are the reason the silencer reads as a piece of engineering rather than a tube.
Spark's Konix Evo alternative on the same headers is conical and sharp-edged. Same price bracket, entirely different look.
Two Conditions on an R7
Spark prints both in capitals: on a Yamaha R7 the system is not compatible with the passenger footrests, and it is to be installed with racing fairings.
An R7 with this exhaust is a track machine. On an MT-07 the warnings do not appear, because the naked bike's bodywork is not in the way.
Stainless Where It Takes the Punishment
The headers are AISI 304 stainless, which Spark describes as perfect for track use — a header run on a small twin sits low and forward, and stainless survives gravel and heat cycling better than thin titanium.
The weight comes off at the silencer: 4,9 kg against a standard 7,6, so 2,7 kg saved. Slightly less than the Konix Evo build, which is the price of the larger internal volume.
Plug and Play, and an Optional Insert
Spark claims high-precision fittings and joints for both R7 systems and calls the installation plug and play. The silencer is prepared for the optional dB killer G9999, ordered separately if you need to go quieter still.
Fitment & Compatibility
Yamaha YZF R7 and MT-07, 2021 to 2026. The Konix Evo alternative on the same headers is GYA8895T at 1.488 euro, which Spark also lists for the XSR700.
Road Approval
None. Spark lists this system as not approved; it is built for closed-circuit use and must not be fitted to a motorcycle ridden on public roads. The circuit noise compliance is about sporting regulations, not road law.
