Both silencers under the seat, closed with carbon. Spark's racing conversion for the 2021-2024 Speed Triple in its least expensive finish — and the version where nothing on the exhaust is polished metal.
Key Features
- Racing underseat twin kit for the Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS and RR, 2021 to 2024 only.
- Two Dyno silencers with carbon fibre end caps.
- 4.1 kg against 7.7 kg standard — 3.6 kg saved.
- The original catalytic converter remains fitted.
- No ECU remapping required.
- Must be used with the dB killer installed.
What Moving the Exhaust Actually Involves
This is not a silencer swap. The kit brings its own routing to take the gas from behind the catalytic converter up and under the tail, and the silencers hang from mounts there rather than from the standard hangers.
Two practical consequences follow. The tail section carries heat it was not designed to carry, which is why a kit engineered around the standard bodywork matters more here than on a slip-on. And soft luggage that used to strap across the tail needs rethinking — there are now two hot cases where the straps went.
Carbon Instead of Milled Aluminium
The red and orange versions of the Dyno make a feature of machining: a five-axis milled cap in 6000-series aluminium, perforated, cut with different radii inside and out. This one closes the cases with moulded carbon fibre instead.
The saving is around a hundred and twenty euros, and the visual difference is larger than that suggests. Carbon under the tail reads as dark and matt where an anodised cap reads as a bright accent. On a Speed Triple that is already busy at the back, the quieter of the two is a defensible choice.
Three Point Six Kilos, and Where From
The standard system this replaces weighs 7.7 kg. Almost half of that comes off, and it comes off the rear of a motorcycle that already carries its mass high.
Because the catalytic converter stays, the saving is entirely in the section behind it — pipework and silencers, not emissions hardware. That is also why no remap is needed and why the change can be reversed in an afternoon.
Check the Year, Not the Name
Spark marks this kit as compatible only with MY21-24, and the 2025 Speed Triple takes an entirely different part number despite carrying the same model name. The tail section and the standard exhaust arrangement both changed.
RS and RR are covered equally, so the badge on the tank is not the question. Look at the registration document. Ordering the wrong generation gets you a box of parts that will not route.
Fitment & Compatibility
Triumph Speed Triple 1200 RS and RR, 2021 through 2024 only. The same kit with red anodised caps is GTR0106TR. For MY2025 onwards the equivalents are GTR0109TC and GTR0109TR. The homologated slip-ons for this generation are GTR0105TOM and the GTR0104 twin range.
Road Approval
None. The kit carries no EC certificate, even though the catalytic converter remains in place. Closed circuits only.
