Shoei Pinlock EVO DKS302 Anti-Fog Insert – for CNS-2 Visors (Hornet ADV)

Fogging is the one visibility problem that gets worse exactly when you need to see most — cold mornings, rain, stop-and-go traffic. A PINLOCK EVO lens is the most effective answer to it, and it is a mechanical solution rather than a coating that wears off.

How It Works

The lens sits inside your visor, held by two eccentric pins, and a silicone bead around its edge seals it against the visor surface. That traps a thin, insulating layer of air between the two panes. Because the inner pane never gets as cold as the outer one, warm humid air from your breath has nothing cold to condense on. It is the same principle as double glazing, and it works within seconds rather than needing warm-up.

Fitting

Take the visor off the helmet, flex it very slightly, and drop the lens onto the pins — the silicone seal does the rest. Fitting instructions are included. If you see condensation forming between the panes, the seal is not seated: take it out, clean both surfaces and refit.

Compatible Visor Types and Helmets

Check your visor type before ordering. This lens fits visor type CNS-2. Usable in the visors of: Hornet ADV 06, Hornet ADV.

Care

The inner anti-fog surface is more delicate than the visor itself. Rinse it with lukewarm water and let it dry, or dab it gently — do not rub it dry with a cloth and do not use solvent-based cleaners, both of which will damage the coating. Handled properly, the lens lasts as long as the visor.
