Adventure riding means mud, grit and standing water thrown straight up off the rear tyre - and on a bike built for the trail, that spray finds its way onto the shock, subframe and rider fast. This Puig rear fender extension bolts over the factory mudguard on the Husqvarna Norden 901 (2022–2026) to add a proper rear tyre hugger effect exactly where it's needed most, keeping the underside of the bike cleaner run after run.

Built for Grit, Not Just Looks
Unlike a bolt-on undertail fender that's purely cosmetic, this extension is engineered as a functional rear splash guard, shielding the original fender, shock linkage and electrics from thrown-up mud, water and debris. The ABS shell shrugs off the knocks that come with proper trail use, while the matt black finish means it never looks like an afterthought.
Fitting Notes
The extension mounts over the top of the standard fender and is secured using the screws Puig supplies in the kit. Fitting requires drilling holes into the original fender component, so this is a permanent modification rather than a clip-on accessory.
