DescriptionThe whole story▼
Forged from the same aluminium that campaigns in the WorldSBK paddock, the OZ Gass RS-A front wheel for the MV Agusta F3 675/800 represents the pinnacle of Italian wheel manufacturing. Every gram saved in rotating mass translates directly into sharper turn-in, more responsive steering and a connected, alive feel through every corner — on the road or on circuit.
Key Features
- Forged high-grade aluminium construction delivers an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and superior durability compared to cast alternatives
- Five-spoke architecture reduces rotating mass, improving agility, acceleration response and braking feel without sacrificing structural integrity
- WorldSBK-derived technology developed and refined under race conditions, brought directly to road-going MV Agusta F3 owners
- Available in four premium anodised finishes: Gloss Black, Techno Black, Techno Gold and Titanium — each applied to exacting Italian quality standards
- Supplied complete with high-quality bearings, aluminium angle-stem valves and spacers where required for a precise, ready-to-fit installation
- Made in Italy to OZ Racing's uncompromising manufacturing tolerances for consistent, reliable performance
Build Quality and Materials
OZ has built its reputation on the track, and the Gass RS-A is the clearest expression of that heritage applied to a production wheel. The forging process aligns the grain structure of the aluminium, producing a wheel that is measurably stiffer and stronger than a cast equivalent of the same weight. The result is a rim that holds its shape under the hardest braking and cornering loads, transmitting accurate feedback to the rider rather than absorbing it in flex.
The anodised finish is not a cosmetic afterthought. Each colour — Gloss Black, Techno Black, Techno Gold and Titanium — is applied through an electrochemical process that bonds the oxide layer into the surface of the aluminium itself, resisting chipping, fading and corrosion far more effectively than paint. The wheel looks as purposeful as it performs.
Road and Track Performance
Reducing unsprung and rotating mass at the front axle has a disproportionately large effect on how a motorcycle handles. The Gass RS-A lowers the gyroscopic resistance of the front wheel, allowing the F3 to change direction with less effort, lean more intuitively and recover more quickly between direction changes. Whether you are threading a road bike through a mountain pass or chasing lap times at a track day, that reduction in inertia is immediately perceptible.
The five-spoke design is not simply a styling choice. The spoke geometry is engineered to balance radial stiffness — resisting the forces that try to buckle the rim under braking — with lateral compliance where it benefits comfort and tyre contact patch behaviour.
Fitment and Compatibility
This wheel is designed and manufactured specifically for the MV Agusta F3 675 and F3 800 across the entire production run from 2012 to 2026. The supplied bearings, aluminium angle-stem valves and spacers (where applicable) ensure a direct, precise fit with no additional machining or modification required.
