Öhlins specifies a defined number of clicks per adjuster so a setting is a number, not an impression. A worn adjuster loses its clicks, and with them any chance of a methodical setup. Electronically controlled adjusters replace the needle with a solenoid but keep the same hydraulics.

Why the Original

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. The part number is the contract: it defines material, dimension and finish together. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 15020-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. The needle tip is the wear part: once rounded, the first few clicks stop doing anything. Öhlins builds click adjusters with defined detents so a setting can be written down and returned to.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 15020-01

Category: Adjustment Needles

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/15020-01_b7dd70c9-2aaf-48d9-87a7-9e73fd60ad41.png?v=1788878420
