The JP ACC MV002 replaces the Brutale 800's throttle tube and housing with one machined body, reaching full opening in sixty degrees and using the motorcycle's own connector.

The Triple That Sold
Bored out to 798 cc, the Brutale gained the midrange the 675 lacked. It became the model that kept MV Agusta trading and it is the one most often seen on a road.
How Far the Standard Grip Turns
Most manufacturers use somewhere between seventy and ninety degrees so that a novice cannot open it accidentally. Sixty is a deliberate move away from that.
The Return Spring
It has to close the throttle reliably every time, which is why the spring rate is chosen with the shorter travel rather than carried over from the original.
Corner Exit
Opening from closed to wide on a fast exit is where the shorter sweep pays. The hand does it in one movement instead of two.
Bar Diameter
The assembly is made for the motorcycle's own handlebar, which is why the part number is model specific rather than a size.
A Note on Warranty
A dealer will notice a changed throttle assembly. On a motorcycle still inside its term the standard part going back on before an appointment is the simpler path.
Ergal Against Moulding
A cut profile holds the ratio it was designed with. A moulded one is made to a tolerance and slowly widens where it runs against the housing.
What the Maker Actually Claims
Machined from solid Ergal, a reduced rotation angle of sixty degrees, the response and sensitivity of a cable throttle, plug and play for the specific model, and a reset with a diagnostic tool afterwards. There is no power claim anywhere in it and none should be inferred.
Who Can Run the Routine
A dealer, an independent workshop with the right interface, or an owner who already has a tool for that make. It takes minutes once the machine is connected and it is the same procedure used after a throttle body service.
