The JP ACC AP009 is built for riders who find the Tuono 457's standard throttle sweep too long to use without shuffling their hand on the bar.

A Naked Version of the Small Twin
Same 457 cc engine, higher bars and less bodywork. Aprilia built it for riders whose licence limits the power but not the ambition, and it carries the full electronic throttle package.
Grip Rubber
The tube takes a standard grip. Anybody moving an expensive pair across should expect to cut the old ones off rather than persuade them.
Water
The assembly lives outdoors and is built for that. Nothing about the change makes the switchgear or the connector any more exposed than it was.
Reversible in Half an Hour
The standard assembly refits with its own hardware, and the reset routine is run once more. There is nothing to undo beyond that.
Aftermarket Bars
A different bar can change where the switchgear sits and how much room the assembly has. Worth measuring before ordering rather than after.
Switchgear Alignment
The switch block locates against the assembly on most models, so it is worth loosening rather than removing it and letting it find its own position again.
An Older Motorcycle
On a machine that has covered distance, the standard assembly has play the owner has stopped noticing. Fitting this often reads as a bigger change than it is.
Circuit Against Public Road
On a circuit the throttle is worked from a known position and the shorter sweep removes a pointless movement. On a road it is more complicated, because traffic, wet surfaces and long motorway stretches all reward fine metering at small openings.
After Fitting Different Bars
A change of handlebar moves the switch block and can change the room the assembly has. Measuring before ordering is five minutes; discovering it with the old assembly already off is an evening.
