DescriptionThe whole story▼
The JP ES KIT07 deletes the ZX-6R's Clean Air System end to end, in one part number and one session.
Key Features
- Kawasaki ZX-6R (2007–2026)
- Both halves of the secondary air deletion
- Solenoid eliminator and cylinder head cover
- One part number, one fitting session
- No drilling and no splicing
- Every standard part refits afterwards
Seventeen Litres
Enough for a track session with reserve or a real day on a road. Kawasaki never treated the 6R as a circuit-only machine.
Cheap Used
Values on the earlier bikes have fallen a long way, which makes the ZX-6R one of the better routes into supersport riding on a budget.
Why Not Buy Them Apart
Ordered separately they arrive weeks apart, the tank comes off twice and a two-hour job becomes two evenings for no benefit whatsoever.
No Diagnostic Afterwards
The circuit is satisfied rather than suppressed, so the display is clear from the first start and nothing needs clearing at a dealer.
On a Bike Under Warranty
Removing emissions equipment gives a dealer grounds to decline a related claim, which is worth deciding about before the parts are ordered.
Where Both Halves Sit
One part is on the head, the other is a short distance above it beside the intake. Both come into view at the same moment, which is why they belong in one session.
Cheaper Than Buying Apart
The kit costs less than the two components separately, before counting the second evening it saves.
Everything Goes Back
Housing, hose, clips and connector all refit with nothing consumed, which means an inspection or a sale can be answered with the standard arrangement.
Still on Supersport Grids
The 636 continues to race despite the capacity disadvantage, because the midrange outweighs whatever the regulations cost. Bikes prepared for that use lose their emissions hardware before anything else is considered.
Six Hundred and Thirty-Six
Kawasaki has run the ZX-6R oversized for most of its life, trading homologation eligibility for usable midrange. Riders have always preferred it and the racing paddock has always found a way to live with it.
