The JP KS BM008 takes the ignition lock off the S1000RR and puts a machined aluminium body with a sealed button in its place.

The Superbike That Reset the Price
BMW arrived in the class in 2009 with more power than anything else and undercut it. Fifteen years later there are enough examples on circuits that specialist parts for them are ordinary.
Reversible
The standard block refits on its own fasteners with its own connector. Keeping it in a labelled bag is the whole of the requirement.
Model Specific
The mounting, the connector and the plate shape all follow the motorcycle. There is no universal version and fitting the wrong one is not a shortcut.
A Sealed Unit
Everything electrical inside is closed against water and vibration, which is what separates this from a switch bought by the metre.

Arm the ignition, kill the ignition. There is no second mode, no memory and nothing to configure.

It sits in the middle of the cockpit where the rider looks. That is part of why owners buy it and there is no point pretending otherwise.

A dual-purpose machine is the wrong candidate. The steering lock and the immobiliser exist for reasons that do not stop applying at weekends.
On a Machine Being Sold
Refitting the block makes the motorcycle ordinary again in twenty minutes, provided the barrel and its key are still together in a box.
The Immobiliser, Before Anything Else
If the key carries a chip, the aerial around the barrel belongs to the starting circuit and the engine will not run without it. Race looms and standalone controllers usually settle that already. On a standard bike it is the one thing that can stop this job.
