DescriptionThe whole story▼
Plenty of 2014 to 2017 Zero DS owners still ride their electric dual-sport every day, including through wet winters. For the rear caliper, Accossato offers the AGPP91 pad in the Sintered (ST) compound, and it fits every battery version Accossato records for those years, from the early ZF8.5 to the ZF13.0. The manufacturer says its sintered material keeps high, constant grip at low and high temperatures and grips well in the wet.
Key Features
- Rear brake pads for the Zero DS, 2014 to 2017
- Six battery versions covered, from ZF8.5 to ZF13.0
- AGPP91 outline in the Sintered (ST) compound, reference AGPP91ST
- Stable grip across temperatures, per Accossato
- Reliable when the disc is wet
- Two pads per box for the rear caliper
- No German ABE held; for track use
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's sintered AGPP91 is designed for consistency: high friction that changes little between cold and hot, plus good wet grip. For the rear brake of an older DS that is used through every season, that predictability matters. The pads are built for long wear and low fade. OR and STMX versions of the AGPP91 are also listed. Each box contains two pads, the set for one caliper.
Gravel, Rain and Back Lanes
The DS was designed to cope with more than tarmac, and many owners use it on unpaved lanes and gravel roads. There, the rear brake is used carefully to avoid locking the wheel, often on a wet disc. A sintered pad gives a consistent response that helps the rider find the limit of grip. For town-only use in dry weather, the organic version is gentler; for heavy mud, the STMX version is designed for off-road riders.
Checking an Older Brake
On a bike that is several years old, look at the whole rear brake when changing pads: pistons, seals, fluid and disc. Clean the pistons before retracting them, replace old fluid and pump the pedal until firm after fitting.
Fitment and Compatibility
Four model years share this rear pad: every DS from 2014 to 2017, regardless of battery size. Should you own the 2024 bike, order the AGPA29 instead. Winter riders who want a matching front will find the AGPA92 listed for 2015 to 2017, also in ST, and the AGPA96 for 2024. A 2014 DS has no Accossato front pad in our data, so for that year only the rear is covered.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test certificate is on file for this pad. We sell it for track and competition riding.
Scope of Delivery
Two sintered rear pads in one box, the set for the Zero DS rear caliper.
