DescriptionThe whole story▼
Many riders of the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure know the moment well: arriving at a junction on a tall motorcycle with only the toes of one foot on the ground. When the bike cannot be held on both feet, the clutch does more than start and stop it: it keeps the balance at walking pace and makes setting off calm instead of hurried. Made by Accossato from machined aluminium, the ESC075 clutch lever for the R 1200 GS Adventure of 2014 to 2019 can be brought closer to the grip to help with exactly that.

Construction and Material Quality
The ESC075 is machined from solid aluminium rather than cast, then anodised in two colours: black for the hub and your choice for the blade. The hub houses the pivot and the reach adjuster. Along its length the blade has no joint and ends in a single solid tip, so there is nothing in it that could loosen over the years. Anodising produces a thin, hard layer that belongs to the metal itself, which keeps the colour intact through the sun, rain and dust that an R 1200 GS Adventure typically meets.
When Only One Foot Reaches
Shorter riders on an R 1200 GS Adventure develop a routine. They slow down early, decide which foot will go down and let the clutch carry the bike through the last metres at walking pace, so that the stop is short and upright. Setting off follows the same pattern in reverse: the foot stays planted until the clutch has taken up the drive and the bike is rolling. In both moments the left hand must find the friction point without any hesitation.
That is easier when the lever rests at the right distance. Bring the blade in with the adjuster until your fingers meet it with a relaxed hand; the friction point then lies closer to the grip, where the fingers have more strength. A long blade, offered in blue, green and orange, adds leverage and lowers the effort for riders who hold the clutch for long spells. For two-finger work, the short blade comes in blue, gold and green.
Fitment and Compatibility
This clutch lever is on Accossato's list for the R 1200 GS Adventure from 2014 to 2019. On the brake side, the EDB077 is listed for the same bikes. Adventure bikes built before 2014 are not included, and for the standard R 1200 GS of the same years there are separate products.
Road Approval
No German ABE is documented for the ESC075, and we list it as a part for circuit use.
