Spark Exhaust Titanium Header Standard Chassis Yamaha R9 (2025-2026) GYA8802

The titanium collector from Spark's GYA8802T system, available separately. It carries the same pipe lengths and diameters as the World Supersport header but keeps the two original lambda sensor bosses, so a standard R9 keeps its factory sensors and the engine management keeps seeing what it expects.

Build Quality & Materials

Titanium throughout, TIG-welded by hand, with couplings turned from billet. The difference between this header and the Supersport one is entirely in the details around it: the sensor bosses, the routing that clears standard bodywork, and the hanger geometry. The tubes themselves are the same, which is the point — Spark did not detune the geometry to make a road-chassis version.

Two lambda bosses rather than four means slightly less diagnostic capability on the dyno and considerably less hassle in the garage. Nothing has to be plugged, nothing has to be simulated.

Performance & Sound

Because the tube geometry is unchanged from the competition part, the gas dynamics are unchanged. What you gain over the racing header is compatibility; what you give up is the per-cylinder sensor access. On its own the collector produces very little of the final sound character — that comes from whichever silencer group follows it.

Fitment & Compatibility

For the Yamaha R9 of 2025 and 2026 with its original swingarm, radiator and footpegs in place. The Supersport-chassis equivalent is GYA8801, which has four sensor ports and no provision for passenger footpegs.

Road Approval

This collector has no EC type approval and carries no catalytic converter, so it is not legal on public roads regardless of which silencer is fitted behind it.
