Active, Not Passive
Standard polyester base layers absorb sweat and hold it. The SD-CT1's seamless carbon fabric does the opposite: it continuously moves moisture off the chest, back and arms to the outer surface and evaporates it, keeping the skin dry through sustained riding, rest stops and walking around at the destination. The difference is most obvious in that first cold moment after you stop — where a wet cotton tee turns into a cold compress and this doesn't.
Structural Sun Protection
SPF50 is engineered into the carbon fibre itself, so the protection is the same on day one and after fifty washes — it can't rinse away like a surface finish. Worth having when you ride mesh jackets or roll sleeves up off the bike.
Odour and Static Control
Silver ions bonded at fibre level permanently disrupt odour-causing bacteria, so the shirt survives a multi-day trip without smelling like one. The antistatic system prevents the electrostatic build-up that makes synthetic layers cling and spark — a small thing that matters over a full touring day.
Fit and Sizing
A close, elastic stretch fit follows every riding posture — shoulders forward, arms out to the bars — with no seams to chafe under armour or a pack. Long sleeves reach the wrist under gloves. Choose by height and build; size up between ranges for sleeve length. XS-S, M-L, XL-XXL, 3XL-4XL, unisex.
Care
Machine wash cool, skip the softener, line dry. Performance is in the fibre and lasts the life of the shirt.
