Fittings are specific to the hose and the housing they connect. A hose-mounted reservoir lets the damper be fitted where a piggyback would not go. Hose length is specific to the installation and cannot be substituted freely.

Why the Original

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 00403-14 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 49 mm, dimension b 75 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart. A separating piston or bladder keeps nitrogen and oil apart; if it fails the damping goes with it.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00403-14

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 49 mm

Dimension B: 75 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00403-14_328bdb40-baa1-4928-b285-035c1d02875e.png?v=1788869297
