Its length defines the preload range available on the unit.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 04763-30

What It Is

There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. A worn adjuster loses its clicks, and with them any chance of a methodical setup. Öhlins builds click adjusters with defined detents so a setting can be written down and returned to. Click adjusters work through a needle in a seat; the detent spring gives the clicks their feel.

Genuine Service Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

04763-30 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. The needle tip is the wear part: once rounded, the first few clicks stop doing anything. Compression and rebound adjusters are not interchangeable even when they look similar.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04763-30

Category: Preload Tubes

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04763-30_a189b1bb-9c51-439f-a84f-db7b4b858f43.png?v=1788873324
