Measure the old part against them before ordering. Öhlins machines many eyes from the same billet as the damper body. A worn end eye bearing is a common source of rear-end vagueness that gets blamed on damping. Top eyes with an integrated preload adjuster are listed as one part.

Genuine Service Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21120-01 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Öhlins states dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 71.5 mm, dimension c 26 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. The end eye carries the entire load of the damper into the chassis, which is why it is machined rather than cast.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21120-01

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 71.5 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21120-01_fe9ea8be-e4d8-40a2-b4b3-d7ea9c3f1dae.png?v=1788879492
