DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Arrow 71768MI titanium header is engineered specifically for the BMW M1000RR K66 (2021-2026), delivering sharper throttle response and measurable power gains while keeping the overall package light and track-ready. Whether you retain the original slip-on silencer or pair it with a compatible Arrow system, this header forms the foundation of a serious exhaust upgrade built to withstand the thermal demands of sustained track use.
Key Features
- Full titanium construction — exceptional heat resistance, outstanding durability, and significant weight reduction over the standard steel header
- Weighs just 2.8 kg, contributing directly to improved power-to-weight ratio and more responsive handling
- 60 mm outlet diameter optimised for strong mid-range pull and peak power delivery
- Compatible with the original BMW slip-on silencer for a cost-effective first step upgrade
- Also pairs with Arrow slip-on silencers 71506 and 71903 to form a complete, high-performance exhaust system
- Race-use only — designed and homologated exclusively for closed-circuit competition
Performance & Build Quality
Arrow developed the 71768MI with the same attention to exhaust gas flow that defines their race-programme components. Titanium offers a natural advantage here: its low thermal conductivity slows heat transfer away from the exhaust gas, maintaining gas velocity through the collector and into the silencer. The result is a header that works hard across the entire rev range of the S1000RR-derived inline-four in the M1000RR, rather than peaking narrowly at the top end.
The 60 mm outlet connects cleanly to Arrow's 71506 and 71903 slip-ons, letting you build a full Arrow system incrementally or in a single purchase. For riders who already run the stock silencer, the header alone delivers a noticeable improvement in throttle response — a practical, budget-conscious starting point before committing to a full system.
ECU Mapping
Arrow strongly recommends a dedicated ECU remap after fitting the 71768MI header. Remapping unlocks the full performance potential of the modified exhaust flow and ensures the engine runs within safe parameters across the power band. This applies whether the header is run with the OEM silencer or a full Arrow system.
Fitment & Compatibility
This header is designed exclusively for the BMW M1000RR K66, covering model years 2021 through 2026. It is compatible with the original BMW end silencer and with Arrow slip-ons 71506 and 71903. It is not road-legal and must only be used in closed-circuit racing environments.
