DescriptionThe whole story▼
The ZXC ceramic racing compound is the choice for XSR700 XTRIBUTE owners who race and want a ceramic pad on the front of their bike. Accossato offers it on the AGPA97 pad, SKU AGPA97ZXC, for the Yamaha XSR700 XTRIBUTE of the 2019 to 2022 model years. It is intended for riders who spend their weekends in the paddock, tune the machine between sessions and plan their brake setup as carefully as tyre pressures and suspension settings.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato calls ZXC a ceramic compound that is ideal for racing. It is aimed at a race-prepared XSR700 XTRIBUTE and at riders who want that particular compound in their setup. We keep to Accossato's description and do not list material percentages or temperature ranges. The company, which won an Enduro world title in 1985, remains focused on brake and control components.
Working in the Pit Box
Between sessions, the pit box is where a race weekend is decided. Riders on ZXC ceramic racing often log how the lever felt at each braking point, compare notes with lap times and adjust lever position or pad choice for the next run. On an XSR700 XTRIBUTE built for racing, it pays to inspect the pads after every outing, clean away dust from the caliper and check that the pistons move freely. Riders who want a non-ceramic race pad can look at EV2, and those on the road at EV1 or ST.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato catalogues this ceramic front pad for the Yamaha XSR700 XTRIBUTE from 2019 to 2022, as XSR 700 X TRIBUTE. The XSR700 XTRIBUTE has two front calipers, so two boxes are needed to fit both. At the back, AGPP88 is Accossato's pad for the same bike and years. Keep the disc surface free from oil and polish, check the fluid condition before each event, and bed the new pads in with several controlled stops before pushing hard. Swap both front sets together.
Road Approval
These pads come without an ABE or test certificate on our side. We therefore sell them for competition and racing use.
Scope of Delivery
