DescriptionThe whole story▼

AGPP91ST is Accossato's Sintered rear pad for the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT range, listed for 2022 to 2025. It suits riders who use the big adventure tourer as intended: long trips with panniers and a top box, a passenger on the back and weather that changes from sunshine to rain on the same pass. On a fully loaded Tiger the rear brake does a significant share of the work, and this compound is designed to keep its grip consistent throughout.

Key Features

  • Sintered rear pads AGPP91 for the Triumph Tiger 1200 GT, 2022 to 2025
  • SKU AGPP91ST
  • Accossato: high, constant grip at high and low temperatures, strong in the wet
  • Suited to a loaded bike with panniers and pillion
  • Stable pedal feel on long descents
  • A compound for all seasons
  • Alternatives on this pad: OR and STMX
  • No test documents; sold for competition use

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato says its Sintered compound keeps a high and even grip level across temperatures and grips well on a wet disc. For a touring Tiger 1200 GT, that consistency is what matters on a long day in changing weather. The maker also designs its pads to wear slowly and to hold off fade by limiting heat.

Fully Loaded Across the Alps

A Tiger 1200 GT with a passenger and three cases carries a lot of weight over the rear wheel. On an alpine descent, the rear brake can take a real share of the stopping, helping keep the bike settled and the front tyre free for steering. That only works if the rear pad responds consistently whether the disc is cold at the top or hot at the bottom, dry or wet. The Sintered compound is designed for exactly this. It also suits riders who tour in spring and autumn, when rain and cold are part of the trip.

On the Road

On a long trip, check pad thickness every few days and keep an eye on the fluid level. Dust and grime from the road can build up in the caliper; rinse it when you can.

Fitment and Compatibility

In Accossato's listing, AGPP91 covers the rear of three Tiger 1200 GT versions: the GT itself for 2022 and 2023, plus the GT Rally Explorer and GT Rally Pro from 2022 to 2025. No front pad for these models appears in the data we have. One box covers the single rear caliper. Clean the pistons before retracting them and pump the pedal before moving off.

Road Approval

There is no ABE and no test certificate in our records for AGPP91ST. It is sold for racing and competition use.

Scope of Delivery

One box with two Sintered rear pads.
