DescriptionThe whole story▼

City riders often park in underground car parks, and a motorcycle there usually ends up in a corner or at the end of a row, close to where cars are manoeuvring. A driver who misjudges the space while reversing can nudge a parked bike off its side stand without even noticing. The CB750 Hornet, Honda's naked twin that arrived for 2023, is a popular choice for town riding, and this is a common way for it to end up on its side with a bent clutch lever. Accossato lists the AGS07 for the CB750 Hornet of 2023 to 2026, a silver replacement clutch lever of the original type.

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato designed the AGS07 as a replacement of the original type, which means the clutch lever keeps the form Honda gave the CB750 Hornet, and the company aimed it at good value for money. Accossato further states that its production process makes these levers more resistant after damage or collisions. The lever is silver, as listed. No further details are given, and we do not speculate.

The Underground Car Park

Where you leave the bike in a car park makes a big difference. Corners at the end of a row are tempting because they seem out of the way, but they are also where drivers swing round when reversing. A space against a wall, beside a pillar or in a marked motorcycle bay is usually safer. Leave the CB750 Hornet in first gear, turn the handlebar to the left and make sure the stand rests on a clean patch of floor rather than on an oil stain, which in underground car parks is more common than you might think. If you find the bike lying down when you return, look for signs of what happened and take photos before moving it, especially if another vehicle seems to have been involved. Then check the clutch lever, the mirror, the footrest and the gear lever. A bent clutch lever should be replaced. Afterwards, check the free play as the handbook describes and test the clutch switch, because it tells the bike's electronics when the clutch is pulled.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato gives the AGS07 for the CB750 Hornet from 2023 to 2026, and the silver AGD207 as the brake lever for the same years. At Inter-Pace the AGS07 is also listed for the CB1000 Hornet and the XL750 Transalp. Accossato's CNC levers for the CB750 Hornet are ESY688H for the clutch and EDF018 for the brake. The AGS07 is listed for the conventional Hornet, not for the E-Clutch version. Compare our photo with your lever before ordering.

Road Approval

Without an ABE or test mark on file for the AGS07, we list this lever for racing and competition.
