DescriptionThe whole story▼
On a sports tourer like the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX, the rear brake is used mostly at low speed: filtering through town, parking, manoeuvring with a passenger. Accossato's AGPP102 rear pad in the Organic mixture fits the Ninja 1000 SX from 2020 to 2024. It gives the rear pedal a soft, progressive feel, suits everyday riding and commuting, and is designed to last while keeping wear on the rear disc low.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato promises long life and limited disc wear from this compound. On the rear of a Ninja 1000 SX used for commuting and everyday riding, those qualities keep running costs down. Accossato designs its pads to control heat and fade while stopping reliably. The organic material is bonded to the standard AGPP102 plate.
Commuting and Everyday Riding
Many Ninja 1000 SX owners use their bike for commuting during the week and touring at weekends. In town, the rear brake is used for low-speed control: filtering, U-turns and stopping at lights. A soft, progressive pedal makes those manoeuvres easier, especially with a heavy bike.
Check the rear pads regularly, since everyday riding can wear them faster than expected. Keep the rear disc clean and free of chain lube. If the pedal feels soft, check the fluid level in the rear reservoir and bleed the brake if needed.
Stop-and-go traffic also means a lot of short, gentle applications with a cold disc. That is exactly where a mild rear compound feels natural on the Ninja 1000 SX: it responds from the first touch, stays quiet at low speed and does not grab when the rider is balancing a heavy bike at walking pace.
Fitment and Compatibility
This rear set belongs to the 2020 to 2024 generation of the Ninja 1000 SX in Accossato's catalogue. Riders renewing the front at the same service will find the matching reference under AGPA109. We have no Accossato disc listed for this model. There is one caliper at the back, so one box is all the rear needs. It is still worth comparing a removed pad with a new one, because a previous owner may have fitted non-standard parts.
Road Approval
We hold no ABE or German test certificate for AGPP102OR. It is sold for track and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
