DescriptionThe whole story▼
Accossato's AGPA96 front pad in EV2 racing compound is listed for the later Zero SR, 2019 to 2022 and 2024, while 2023 is not covered. It is aimed at owners who race the SR or use it for serious track sessions. EV2 is the mix Accossato describes as a top racing compound, made to deliver strong, consistent braking under the repeated loads of competition.
Key Features
- AGPA96 front pads for the Zero SR 2019-2022 and 2024
- 2023 not included in the listing
- EV2 racing compound
- Top racing mix in Accossato's range
- Consistent stopping under race loads
- Other compounds: OR, ST, EV1, ZXC
- Two pads for one caliper
Construction and Material Quality
Top racing compound is how Accossato labels EV2. It is tuned for the temperatures and forces of a race, and the maker states that heat is kept under control so the stopping power stays level through a long stint. Before it warms up, especially on a cold public road, EV2 bites less readily than a street pad, which is why this listing targets a track-prepared SR.
Managing Heat Over a Session
On track, the later Zero SR builds speed quickly, and the brakes must shed it again at the end of each straight. Over a full session, heat builds up in the pads, discs and fluid. EV2 is designed to stay consistent as temperatures rise, but the rest of the system needs care too: fresh fluid, clean calipers and discs within their wear limits. Use a cool-down lap at the end of each session to let the brakes recover. Check pad thickness after every run and replace the pads well before they reach their limit.
Fitment and Compatibility
On the later SR, AGPA96 in EV2 is catalogued for these batteries: ZF14.4-F from 2019 to 2021, ZF14.4-S from 2019 to 2022, and ZF15.6, ZF17.3 and ZF17.3-F from 2024. Nothing is named for 2023. The 2015 to 2017 SR has its own front pad, AGPA92, while the rear uses AGPP91 across the listed years. Never pair one EV2 pad with a pad of another compound in the same caliper; the lever feel and wear would become unpredictable.
Road Approval
As no approval certificate or German ABE is available to us, these pads are sold for motorsport and competition.
Scope of Delivery
The box contains two EV2 racing pads, which together refit a single front caliper.
