DescriptionThe whole story▼
If an MT-09 Sport Tracker from 2015 or 2016 has been turned into a track machine, the front pads should match its new role. Accossato's AGPA97EV2 is the front pad for the Sport Tracker in the EV2 racing compound. It is meant for circuit sessions in which the rider brakes hard, lap after lap, and wants a lever that stays consistent from the start of a session to the end.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato describes its EV2 as a top racing compound and designs it for repeated heavy stops. On the Sport Tracker's AGPA97 plate it fits exactly like the road compounds but is intended for the circuit. Accossato's general aim of controlling heat to reduce fade is particularly relevant to this material.
Converting a Tracker for the Circuit
Turning a styled road bike into a circuit machine usually starts with safety items: brakes, tyres and fluid. On a Sport Tracker the front pads face much heavier work on track than on the road, with hard stops from high speed every lap. The EV2 compound is intended for that. Pair new pads with fresh racing fluid, check the brake lines for age and damage, and make sure the lever and its adjuster are secure. Remove or tape up anything that could break or come loose, such as mirrors and lights, and check the organiser's technical rules before the event.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the AGPA97 for the front of the MT-09 Sport Tracker for 2015 and 2016, with the AGPP88 for its rear. The two front calipers need two boxes, fitted together. Clean the pistons, inspect the discs for wear and heat marks, and bleed with fresh fluid before track use. Accossato's DK077 and DKS073 discs are also catalogued for this model. Bed in the pads carefully during the first session.
Road Approval
No German ABE or test documents for this pad are in our files, so the AGPA97EV2 is offered only for circuit and competition use.
