Built entirely in Italy from premium-grade titanium, this system meets the legal sound threshold yet leaves room to raise the intensity simply by removing the DB killers when heading to the track.

System Design & Build Quality

The GDU8838 is a half-system, meaning it replaces the factory silencers and mid-pipe while keeping the original headers in place. The two rectangular Spark silencers are fabricated from titanium, a material chosen for its combination of low density and outstanding thermal stability — qualities that matter on a high-revving V4 that regularly sees sustained high exhaust temperatures. The titanium link pipe connecting the silencers to the retained headers is equally resistant to heat cycling, ensuring the joints remain tight and leak-free across seasons of hard use.

The rectangular silhouette of the cans is a deliberate design choice: the compact form factor sits cleanly within the Panigale's underbelly fairing envelope without requiring any cutting or reshaping of the bodywork on standard V4, V4 S and V4 R models. The finish carries that characteristic natural titanium gradation that deepens after the first heat cycle, giving the exhaust a genuinely individual appearance over time.

Installation Notes

Before mounting, the pillion rearsets and tail tidy must be removed to allow correct fitment of the silencer brackets. On Euro 5 variants of the Panigale V4 (typically 2021 onwards), the plastic cover on the original collector requires filing back by a few millimetres to allow the Spark link pipe to seat fully — a straightforward workshop task that requires no specialist tooling.

To extract the full performance benefit from this system, Spark and Inter-Pace both recommend commissioning a dedicated race map or a dyno-optimised ECU remap. The improved exhaust flow alters the fuelling window and a proper tune will ensure the throttle response gain translates directly into usable power across the rev range.
