DescriptionThe whole story▼
The crown liner is the part of the helmet that touches your head over the longest distance, from the forehead to the back. After a few seasons of sweat and washing it settles and the helmet starts to feel loose. IN8100P is the textile crown liner for the Spartan RS, in black, sold in six sizes.
Key Features
- Textile crown liner (fabric cap) for the Spartan RS
- Black, code BLK
- Sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL
- 85 g listed, customs code 6507000000
Sizing
The six sizes follow the helmet sizes from XS to XXL. Order the size printed on your helmet's label, not the size you would like it to feel. The SKU ends in the size, for example IN8100PBLKM for medium or IN8100PBLKXL for extra large. Shark's list does not offer thicker or thinner versions of the crown liner; the fit is adjusted through the size alone.
Signs it needs replacing
A liner that has flattened no longer holds the head where it should be, and the helmet can move at speed or when you turn your head. Torn fabric, loose seams or a smell that washing does not remove are further signs. Because it is in constant contact with skin and hair, the crown liner counts as a wear part.
Ordering by part number
Check the label or number on the old liner if you can find one, and the size on the helmet. IN8100P is listed in black only. Shark's designation is FABRIC CAP SPARTAN RS, and the French line calls it coiffe.
Where this part belongs
The Spartan RS. The price list names it directly in the model column, as SPARTAN RS FIBRE, so the fit is documented by Shark rather than derived from a number range. No other helmet is listed for this number.
