DescriptionThe whole story▼
The lining at the top of a helmet is in contact with your head for every minute of every ride, and it is the part that tells you first when a helmet has become tired. IN69010P is the grey cap lining for the Skwal Jet Cup, in six sizes from XS to XXL.
Key Features
- Crown liner (cap lining), Skwal Jet Cup
- Grey, code GRE
- Sizes XS to XXL, one variant per size
- 69 g, customs code 6507000000
Fitment
The Skwal Jet Cup. Shark names it in the model column of its price list, where the entry reads SKWAL JET CUP, so the fit is stated by the manufacturer's own list rather than worked out from part numbers. No other helmet is listed for IN69010P.
Fitting
Remove the worn lining and fit the new one in the same position. How the lining is held is not described in the price list, so note the attachment of the old one before you pull it out, then press the new one into the same places without forcing it. With the helmet on, the lining should lie flat and even across the top of the head.
Ordering by part number
The sizes follow the helmet sizes. Order the size shown on your helmet's label; the SKU ends in it, from IN69010PGREXS to IN69010PGREXXL. The designation is CAP LINING, in French coiffe, and grey is the only colour listed. A thinner or thicker version is not offered under this number, so a lining in the right size restores the original fit rather than changing it.
Keeping it serviceable
A lining that is washed regularly lasts longer and smells better. Hand-wash it in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse well, press out the water without wringing and let it dry at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun. Put it back only when it is completely dry.
