DescriptionThe whole story▼

G02, B16 and KMA are codes that turn up all over the matt OXO spares, from the side plates to the vents. FX8711P is the matt chin bar in those three codes for the large shell.

Key Features

  • OXO chin bar, large shell, matt
  • Finish codes G02, B16 and KMA
  • Supplier line CHIN BAR LARGE SHELL Mat
  • Listed weight 170 g

Fitment

The OXO is the helmet in the model column of Shark's price list for FX8711P. The same three codes are used on the matt OXO side plates FX8741P and on the matt lower vent VE8701P, so one code on your label covers all of them.

Fitting

Fit the chin bar as the OXO manual describes, or have a dealer do it, since it carries the lock that closes the helmet at the front. Use good screws or the set FX8725P. After fitting, open and close it several times and pull at the front to confirm it is locked on both sides.

Scope of delivery

One matt chin bar in the code you choose. Shark gives G02, B16 and KMA without colour names, and no colour is implied here.

The price is the same for all three codes. The gloss-listed large-shell chin bars, such as FX8714P, cost more.

Small shell or large shell

Small-shell and large-shell OXO chin bars are not interchangeable. This one is for the large shell. The matt small-shell chin bar in G02, B16 and KMA is FX8701P. The label under the comfort liner tells you which shell you have.
