DescriptionThe whole story▼
Washer 57/73/1, Öhlins part number 00543-01. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler.

- Original Öhlins service part
- Dimension A 57 mm
- Dimension B 73 mm
- Dimension C 1 mm
Where It Sits
The published figures are 57 mm, 73 mm, 1 mm. Measure the old part against them before ordering. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters. Öhlins lists washers by thickness because it forms part of the internal stack height. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon.
Original Öhlins Part
Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.
Getting the Number Right
Order under 00543-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 57 mm, dimension b 73 mm, dimension c 1 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once.
Fitting and Setup Service
If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.
