Circlips hold axial position under load; a sprung one lets the assembly walk. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once. These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards.

Genuine Service Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 25603-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 27 mm, dimension c 38 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25603-01

Category: Washers

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 27 mm

Dimension C: 38 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25603-01_9ddd26a7-655d-40b8-8541-fb1f8ae81a2a.png?v=1788878473
