A washer of the wrong thickness quietly changes preload on whatever it sits against.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Öhlins part number 00810-05

Dimension A 12 mm

Dimension B 21 mm

Dimension C 13.5 mm

Function

00810-05 is the 12 mm, 21 mm, 13.5 mm version — Öhlins lists each size separately. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping.

Genuine Service Part

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 00810-05 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 21 mm, dimension c 13.5 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. Spacers set the internal geometry of the unit, which means their length is a specification and not a filler.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00810-05

Category: Washers

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 21 mm

Dimension C: 13.5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00810-05_87167f6b-26fc-4965-aaa3-4ad2edc4b8aa.png?v=1788872739
