Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position. Small parts are cheap until one of them is missing on a Friday afternoon. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice.

Why the Original

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 05449-05. Check inner diameter 39 mm, outer diameter 12 mm, length 17 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Sealing washers are consumables — they take their shape on first assembly and do not seal twice.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 05449-05

Category: Washers

Inner Diameter: 39 mm

Outer Diameter: 12 mm

Length: 17 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/05449-05_c8354c79-9b40-47b9-8078-e788ca627ecd.png?v=1788876676
