Worn bushings show up as a knock over sharp edges before they show up as a leak. Guides and sleeves set the internal alignment of a cartridge. A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail.

Why the Original

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 02239-04. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins states inner diameter 6 mm, outer diameter 20 mm, length 15 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Guides and sleeves set the internal alignment of a cartridge.
