DescriptionThe whole story▼
Screw MFT 4x16 A4, Öhlins part number 00382-31. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position.
Key Features
- Öhlins part number 00382-31
- Original Öhlins service part
Where It Sits
There is no measurement to check here — the number and the exploded view identify it. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size. Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once.
Original Öhlins Part
Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.
Identifying the Right Part
Order under 00382-31. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at the same time, which is why the grade matters.
Fitting and Setup Service
Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.
