These are the parts that are easy to lose on the bench and impossible to improvise afterwards. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need.

Why the Original

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 01046-34. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it. Öhlins uses metric threads throughout, but the length and head form are specific to the position.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01046-34

Category: Screws

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01046-34_84e3214b-42ae-4478-aa08-fd19c21daf74.png?v=1788873040
