Öhlins publishes them in the exploded view so a workshop can order the whole position at once.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 00382-34

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping. Öhlins specifies thread-locking compound by position; not every fastener wants it.

Original Öhlins Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 00382-34 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. A spacer that is a millimetre short changes the preload on a shim stack, and with it the damping. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00382-34

Category: Screws

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00382-34_c0b0694f-2b21-40c7-ae58-38ac380c73e8.png?v=1788871800
