DescriptionThe whole story▼
Screw 12x35, Öhlins part number 00382-19. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them.
Key Features
- Öhlins part number 00382-19
- Original Öhlins service part
What It Is
This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Thread size and length identify the fastener; substituting a hardware-store equivalent is not sensible in a pressurised damper. Fasteners in a damper see pressure, heat and vibration at once, which is why the grade matters. Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold.
Genuine Service Part
The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. Order by part number — descriptions repeat across sizes, numbers do not. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.
Getting the Number Right
If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00382-19. Öhlins does not publish a dimension here — go by the number and the exploded view. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why.
Fitting and Setup Service
Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.
