Inner and outer diameter both matter; a bushing that is a little loose does more damage than none at all.

Key Features

Original Öhlins service part

Inner Diameter 14 mm

Length 47 mm

Outer Diameter 37 mm

Öhlins part number 25608-04

Where It Sits

Öhlins gives it as 14 mm, 37 mm, 47 mm; nothing about that is approximate. Worn bushings show up as a knock over sharp edges before they show up as a leak. Bushings take the side load so the seal only has to seal. Öhlins uses PTFE-coated bushings for a low breakaway force.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins manufactures service parts on the same lines as production parts — there is no second quality. This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 25608-04. Öhlins states inner diameter 14 mm, outer diameter 37 mm, length 47 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Bushings take the side load so the seal only has to seal. Play at a bushing lets the shaft run off centre and the seal wears unevenly.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 25608-04

Category: Bushings

Inner Diameter: 14 mm

Outer Diameter: 37 mm

Length: 47 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/25608-04_b2c9f009-fee1-450b-91ad-c248823b63cb.png?v=1788880915
