Cartridge tubes sit inside the fork leg and do the actual damping. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Why the Original

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.

Getting the Number Right

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 04760-03. Öhlins states dimension a 53 mm, dimension b 56 mm, dimension c 496 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Axle clamps and lower legs are machined to hold the axle without distorting the fork. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04760-03

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 53 mm

Dimension B: 56 mm

Dimension C: 496 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04760-03_69ab078a-c438-4128-9d7c-31427263c5a6.png?v=1788873130
