Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be substituted freely. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis. The reservoir hose carries the full gas charge and is pressure-tested accordingly.

Why the Original

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 01047-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 500 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely. The separating piston or bladder inside keeps gas and oil apart; if it fails, the damping goes with it.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01047-01

Category: Hoses

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 500 mm

Thread: M8x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01047-01_aac0a5c4-bbd6-41e5-afb1-07e175db5425.png?v=1788873060
