DescriptionThe whole story▼
Guide ring 26.3/44.2/10.8, Öhlins part number 21808-02. Öhlins uses low-friction coated bushings so the unit breaks away smoothly rather than sticking.
Key Features
- Outer Diameter 44.2 mm
- Öhlins part number 21808-02
- Length 10.8 mm
- Inner Diameter 26.3 mm
- Original Öhlins service part
Where It Sits
At 26.3 mm, 44.2 mm, 10.8 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. A worn bushing lets the shaft move off centre, and the seal is the next thing to fail. Play at a bushing lets the shaft run off centre and the seal wears unevenly. Play at the bushing shows up as a knock over sharp bumps.
Genuine Service Part
Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Ask us before ordering if you are unsure: a wrong part in a pressurised unit is an expensive lesson.
How to Be Sure It Fits
21808-02 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Check inner diameter 26.3 mm, outer diameter 44.2 mm, length 10.8 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. A bushing is a consumable and is replaced at rebuild rather than reused. Guide bushings set the internal alignment of a cartridge.
Fitting and Setup Service
Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.
