A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes.

Original Öhlins Part

The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Getting the Number Right

21630-18 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. The published dimensions are dimension a 43 mm, dimension b 50 mm, dimension c 54 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Fork tubes are the structural part of the front end and carry the braking load into the yokes. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life.

Fitting and Setup Service

We are an authorised Öhlins service centre, so you do not have to source the tools and the nitrogen: send us the damper and we rebuild it with the correct parts and the correct setting.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21630-18

Category: Fork Parts

Dimension A: 43 mm

Dimension B: 50 mm

Dimension C: 54 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21630-18_f7b9a660-1835-4b8f-8cfa-8985640825e6.png?v=1788879760
