A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. End caps carry adjusters, seals and often the gas valve. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for worn damping.

Why the Original

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Getting the Number Right

Order under 21154-02. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 52 mm, dimension c 26 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. The eye takes the entire load path from wheel to chassis.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21154-02

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 52 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21154-02_f8b0d3c2-6c94-4a58-8ad4-9e30f5d00296.png?v=1788879519
