The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. A spherical bearing in the eye lets the damper follow the linkage arc without side load.

Original Öhlins Part

The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Part number 03154-01 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. The published dimensions are dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 52 mm, dimension c 18 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. The end eye carries the whole load of the damper into the chassis. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03154-01

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 52 mm

Dimension C: 18 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03154-01_a30c2586-f99b-4074-b413-52eb2a0fe5b9.png?v=1788872103
