Eye width and bore diameter both have to match the chassis mount. A worn eye bearing is often mistaken for tired damping. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. Öhlins numbers every position so a workshop can order precisely what it needs, not a whole assembly. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 60220-51. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Öhlins states dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 30 mm, dimension c 26 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. The spherical bearing in an end eye lets the damper follow the linkage without side load. Spherical bearings in the eye let the damper move without binding as the linkage arcs.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 60220-51

Category: End Eyes

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 30 mm

Dimension C: 26 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/60220-51_69509fbd-964f-4ef5-ba9f-17987cf379c1.png?v=1788878669
