Retaining rings come in a groove-specific thickness — the next size does not hold. Shoulder screws set a clearance as well as clamping, which is why the length is exact. Circlips are single-use in practice: once sprung, they no longer hold their groove reliably.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. The tolerances here are the ones the unit was assembled to, not a pattern equivalent's interpretation of them. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up.

How to Be Sure It Fits

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 00329-03. Check dimension a 48 mm, dimension b 2 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Stainless where corrosion matters, hardened where load matters — the choice is made per position. Öhlins lists these individually because a service usually needs a handful of them.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00329-03

Category: Circlips

Dimension A: 48 mm

Dimension B: 2 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00329-03_370e914b-9002-4693-99a1-ce60dcf79409.png?v=1788871620
