A plug that seals a gas port is a pressure part despite its size.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 02221-02

Dimension B 0.8 mm

Dimension A 12 mm

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

At 12 mm, 0.8 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. Öhlins fits them where a threaded solution would add length. A wrong washer under an adjuster changes the click range without anyone noticing why. A circlip holds axial position under load; if it springs, the assembly walks.

Genuine Service Part

A damper that can be rebuilt is a damper that stays on the bike; that is the whole argument for original service parts. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. We can check the number against the Öhlins exploded view before you order — just ask. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

If the unit is already open, compare the dimensions below with the part in your hand before ordering 02221-02. Check dimension a 12 mm, dimension b 0.8 mm against what you have removed; a close size is not the same part. Ordering the small parts with the seal kit saves the second delivery that most rebuilds otherwise need. Small parts are what hold a rebuild together — the wrong circlip or washer is enough to fail the job.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 02221-02

Category: Circlips

Dimension A: 12 mm

Dimension B: 0.8 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/02221-02_8e735f60-11f1-4adf-b2b5-ef5d043a9f0a.png?v=1788871561
