Öhlins builds click adjusters with defined detents so a setting can be written down and returned to.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 03253-01

Original Öhlins service part

Function

This position is identified by its number rather than by a dimension. Öhlins publishes the click count for each unit, and a rebuilt adjuster should return it. Preload adjusters carry the full spring force and are built accordingly. Adjuster housings carry seals, and a leak there empties the damper as surely as a shaft seal.

Genuine Service Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 03253-01 in this case. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Detent balls and springs are separate parts because they wear before the housing does. The needle tip is the wear part: once rounded, the first few clicks stop doing anything.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 03253-01

Category: Adjusters

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/03253-01_f594d60b-aa09-4db2-82da-1e4f58ff84c8.png?v=1788872216
