Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced. Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins is one of the few suspension makers that still supplies every position in the exploded view as a single part. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue. If the unit is already apart, compare the published dimensions with the part in your hand.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 21648-06. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. The published dimensions are dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 3 mm — measure the old part against them if you are unsure. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks. Adaptors let one damper body serve several mounting geometries.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21648-06

Category: Adaptors

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 3 mm

Thread: M24x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21648-06_1bb70fdb-1e6b-4d89-9257-79f35b17d351.png?v=1788879847
