Clamps have a specified torque; over-tightening distorts the bore they hold. Brackets locate the damper or reservoir against the chassis and take the load in one direction only. Housing threads carry the adjusters and are the part that suffers if the adjuster is forced.

Original Öhlins Part

This is an original Öhlins part, not an aftermarket equivalent — the tolerances are the ones the unit was assembled to. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21648-02 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. dimension a 1 mm, dimension b 25 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Öhlins uses adaptors rather than making a separate body for every chassis. Adaptors let one damper body serve several mounting geometries.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21648-02

Category: Adaptors

Dimension A: 1 mm

Dimension B: 25 mm

Thread: M24x1

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21648-02_4c6e542d-f834-4f8e-b6f3-a41412e5801c.png?v=1788879842
